Earlier this week, the Gallup poll showed that Congress had the same in the gutter rating as President Bush. But I've not seen much analysis of what exactly why the public is unhappy with Congress (with a drop of 5 points in a month). The piece had lots of speculation ... perhaps it is the war, perhaps the oil prices, lack of progress on immigration reform ... but it appears that the poll didn't do anything but ask a general question. So what do you think is driving the public perception of Congress?
