Patrick Fitzgerald reveals that the CIA did confirm Valerie Plame was covert at the time Karl Rove, Scooter Libby, and Richard Armitage outed her to Robert Novak and others.

Let's hope Libby gets the maximum for outing an intelligence asset for political purposes.
