Open Thread

Once upon a time, our country was founded on the idea that the right of habeas corpus was sacrosanct as you would find from reading documents from that era. Harpers reminded us that when the founding fathers were freeing themselves from tyranny, they had been subject to that day's "enemy combatant" designation and thus was especially aware of why habeas corpus was so essential. George W. must be turning in his grave at the way the current president has embraced the tools of the tyrant.

Here's an open thread to work.
