White House Ready To Bamboozle Congress Again

Is the White House fearful of a string of fights with the Democratic leadership over Iraq, and specifically over any attempts to tie the defense budget to a withdrawal requirement? Yes, according to the Los Angeles Times tonight, which says that the White House has quietly been talking about a “truce” with Congress over Iraq, as long as Bush gets to keep as many troops in Iraq as he wants.

In other words, just another Cheney “F*ck You!” to Congress.
