Keep Yapping Rudy
Poor Rudy is having a bad month. After it was revealed that he skipped out on the Iraq Study Group to make cash, and sent New York firefighters into Ground Zero without proper medical protection after getting warnings from the EPA not to do so, Rudy attacked Bill Clinton today for not stopping Osama Bin Laden after the first WTC bombing in 1993. This came after Giuliani specifically said last year that there should be no scapegoating of the current and former president when it came to the war on terror.
His smear today got an immediate smack down from Howard Dean’s DNC, which gave us all a preview of how the Democrats should beat Rudy like a drum for the remainder of this campaign.
"Rudy's arrogance has gotten the best of him," the Democratic National Committee said in a one-paragraph response. "How can a man who failed to prepare New York City for a second attack after the first one, who sent firefighters and emergency workers into Ground Zero without respirators and quit the Iraq Study Group to raise money keep America safe?"
