See how easily the California Senate GOP leadership can delay passage of the state's budget once again last night by bringing up a new stumbling block heretofore not raised in the stalemate, and then go across the street to celebrate?

I'm sure their constituents who have now gone over three weeks without getting paid by the state for services provided, would like to celebrate with them.

And I have no idea why Art Torres and the California Democratic Party didn't blast-fax this picture and a hit piece to all the state's media outlets this morning. Then again, that would require a real state Democratic Party in California.

Nevermind.

Update: The State Senate finally approved a budget today.
