So who was responsible for the Clinton tip story on NPR? Was it David Green who wanted to find a negative story about Hillary? Or was he "tipped" about this story? And if so, by whom? Was it a mistake on the part of the Clinton staff who obviously did pay for the meal? Perhaps a reporter that really wanted to get the full story can talk to some of the other people involved to figure out what actually happened. My reaction is perhaps NPR is vying to outdo Chris Matthews or MoDo in helping the Republicans destroy the Democratic candidates. It would be nice if we could have just a few more journalists worrying about the unusually large number of non-combat deaths of the troops serving in Iraq. That might actually be a story that could use some real footwork and investigation. Don't you think?
