2013 Is Too Late
by Ken Camp
Do you want six more years of violence costing American lives in Iraq? Can the United States of America afford the billions of dollars necessary to sustain that effort? Well, that's what you'll get if you vote for Senators Clinton, Obama and Edwards.
At the Dartmouth debate, none of the aforementioned Senators would commit to withdrawing all American troops from Iraq before the end of their first term as President, in January 2013.
Only one of the major Democratic candidates for President will get all of the troops out immediately, Governor Bill Richardson.
Governor Richardson has just launched a new website to end the war in Iraq: 2013 Is Too Late. Go add your voice to the growing chorus of people standing with Governor Richardson to bring an end to American military involvement in Iraq.
Unless the war in Iraq is ended as Governor Richardson promises, you can forget the promises other candidates have made regarding universal healthcare, significant action on climate change and the reforms necessary to give our children the finest education system in the world. The money won't be there.
