It seems Rudy Giuliani's monomaniacal campaigning on a noun, a verb, and 9/11 isn't working out so well. First, the Associated Press reported that about a dozen of his senior campaign staffers are going without paychecks. Then, SurveyUSA came out with a poll showing John McCain within the margin of error of Rudy's lead- in Rudy's home state of New York! Now, SurveyUSA also has a poll showing McCain with a solid eight point lead over Rudy, in Florida. Remember: Rudy ostensibly skipped out on Iowa and New Hampshire, once he realized he couldn't win them, so he could focus on campaigning in Florida, which was supposed to be his best shot at getting into the race. And it probably is. Meaning he has no shot at all.
