Kiss Her Ass

by paradox

It has been two weeks since yet another American political media debacle (New Hampshire Primary 2008, this time) but no network has offered a detailed apologetic explanation of what happened, no analysis on the weaknesses of polling, no investigation of journalistic behavior (heavens no), and of course no one lost their job over the putrid, stinking mess.

American journalism isn’t going to tell its consumers how offensively stupid and vapid it is, of course not, with the idea of accountability completely laughable even after this latest utter meltdown, but there is still a vast, reserved calm satisfaction in the liberal community with the outcome of New Hampshire, for at last a Democrat had to undergo sickening media abuse (again) yet emerged triumphant this time, still present after being so haughtily, so arrogantly written off.

Words do no justice the to the sickening juvenile pack attack Clinton underwent 72 hours before the election, chattering jackals of print gleefully joined by slavering hyenas of television giddy in flailing about a hapless political corpse who had done no more than to appear to shed human tears. Outraged and disgusted, voters went to the polls and blew up New Hampshire in the pack’s face, may their stinking credibility be buried forever from it.

Voters is a deliberate distinction, for our moronic lying corporatists who dare still to call themselves journalists are consistently, offensively clueless in their inherent sexism attempting to explain New Hampshire, constantly classifying citizens as “women voters,” simply oblivious to the absurdity of classifying any votes as fringe, as if somehow distinct from a real vote from a white male. It gets even more laughable looking at the nauseating fake militaristic pandering to white male votes over the decades with virtually no comment, but the drones on TV still endlessly yap about how wow, man, those votes cast by women count just precisely the same as other votes, check it out.

Humiliated and hurtin’, how will our dear pack of “journalists” behave toward Hillary Clinton now that the Tweety Effect boomeranged so beautifully into their faces? As Digby at Hullabaloo so brilliantly coined the New Hampshire phenomena, so did she very pertinently observe that Hillary Clinton very well may have committed the most nuclear, untouchable, unpardonable sin of all by winning New Hampshire, for by refusing not to be run out of town, she robbed the pace of it’s most virulent tool: exclusion.

Out of all the horrible media elements to be found in New Hampshire easily one of the worst is this sickening arrogance among American “journalists” that they are the arbiters of success, they are in control of who wins. Voters? Har, what the hell is this, a Democracy? In the greatest country the world has ever seen, possessor of the best brains and technology on the planet holding vast powers of wealth and destruction, here is the level of elite American political discourse our “journalists” insist on enforcing for all of our people:

Now that it’s been shown such grossly offensive, juvenile behavior can so horribly backfire, what in fact will the pack do? Will they actually swallow their manifestly supreme arrogance and pride to allow Hillary Clinton to run as a human being for president? Or will they still try to be arbiters for the fate of our children, so haughty among the howls of misery from so many in their endless sick blathering about a candidate’s hair?

Time will tell, but the current Newsweek, bitch harpy Heather Girl American journalism corporate slut extraordinaire if there ever was one, now has a very flattering image of Hillary Clinton on the cover. Perhaps the humiliated corporate mavens who dare to presume control over our politics have decided that, at least for now, some neutral behavior is called for. Maybe in six months everyone will have forgotten about the odious travesty, right?

As if. It won’t ever be forgotten, just as what happened to Al Gore and John Kerry will forever be remembered and chronicled. Hillary Clinton may or may not be the liberal savior and nominee of the Democratic party, that remains to be seen, but for all the lurid sneering about Al Gore “lies,” the outrageous peddling of Swift Boat accusations, the sickening double standards applied to George Bush, the nauseating triviality about hair, the horrifying propaganda over the Iraq war, well, US “journalism” corps, there remains one glorious answer of triumphant staying power: kiss her ass.
