I've been too busy today to keep up with the election results, but I have heard that we continue to have eye-opening turnout. This is a GOOD sign for our democracy. Go DEMS!
On the other hand, it's hard to not be worried about this. In fact, just this morning I heard some guy from CATO talk about why McCain could be a really good choice: because he'd be able to privatize Social Security (In CATO's eyes Bush is a failure because he couldn't privatize this program not because everything he touches turns into s*tpiles). Your job today is to reflect on what your retirement funds would look like today if you had let the Bush administration move your investment responsibility from the Social Security actuaries to your friendly neighborhood investor selling CDOs. It really brings to home the stark difference between the Democrats and the Republicans.
Your turn now.
