Sunday I noted the harsh and cruel arrest of a retired school teacher in Alabama for corruption. Today, Scott Horton continues the story.

What are the charges against her? That she did not adequately perform on a contract she had with a non-governmental organization to support a civics education project....Is it normal to bring a federal prosecution against a school teacher who fails to perform all of her teaching plan? Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

It is very dangerous to be a Democrat in Alabama under the Karl Rove plan to make the state a GOP stronghold by using the power of the state to prosecute and imprison innocent citizens for their political affiliation.
