Bye Bye Tucker

Tucker Carlson has lost his gig at MSNBC:

MSNBC said this afternoon that it was canceling “Tucker,” the low-rated, early evening program led by Tucker Carlson, and replacing it with a new, politically oriented program featuring David Gregory, chief White House correspondent of NBC News.

Of course, MSNBC could have given Rachel Maddow her own show, but instead they apparently had their quota of center-left hosts. Instead, MSNBC will be torturing us with Gregory, who lately has been neutered by this White House, and Mrs. Alan Greenspan each day, both of whom not only spin the Beltway conventional wisdom on NBC each night but now also have a second daily opportunity with their own shows on MSNBC.

That's two more mouthpieces for the eventual pro-McCain, anti-Obama narrative that is about to set in for the remainder of this race.
