Let's Talk About Religion, Now

The Supreme Court today ruled that state-sanctioned killing people is neither cruel nor unusual. Which puts us in good company. Which suggests that it may, actually, be unusual , despite what the Supreme Court today ruled. But why would anyone be surprised that this government does not consider it cruel? Perhaps someone should conduct a forum on religion, so we can discuss the morality.
