Misplaced Priorities

One quick story on top of Paradox's Open Thread:
Those of you who watched both Keith's "Countdown" and Dan Abrams' show on MSNBC tonight were treated to the news tidbit that Hillary took a swipe at MoveOn.org at a private fundraiser at the end of February. I'm sure this was an attempt at a tit-for-tat back at Hillary for Obama's remarks about Pennsylvania voters at the San Francisco event several weeks back. It was a topic of some anti-Hillary comments among center-left bloggers, which explains why Keith went with it.
Keith and Rachel Maddow made a big deal of this in a separate segment, questioning the wisdom of Hillary going after a mainstay of the Democratic base and the netroots. Neither saw fit to mention that by the time Hillary expressed this frustration with MoveOn.org, she had already come to their defense in the "General Betray-Us" right wing smear, only to be rewarded with MoveOn endorsing Obama. Somehow this escaped both of them as they piddled on about Hillary, in a show that was almost uniformly anti-Hillary and pro-Obama.
And in all of that fluffing for Obama, including elevating this MoveOn story into its own segment, Keith didn't think this story merited its own segment.
Keith, when your donning of the kneepads replaces coverage of real news, you are coming close to jumping the shark.
