Patience Please

At the back end of a holiday weekend, I wanted to chime in with a bit of TLC housekeeping. Like our regular and long-standing commenters here, I would prefer to use a platform that allows us better control over access to the site, so that we can kick out the trolls that pollute things around here. We still plan to move in that direction, so I ask for your patience on the matter.

I don't like paying for "the bandwidth" to allow cranks like Bagley, Peter, jj, and others to spread their misinformation and discredited right wing talking points around here any more than you like seeing them pollute the debate.

But please bear with me and Mary as we explore options to change the site for the better over the coming months.
