So McCain gives a speech today on Iraq and Afghanistan that originally was supposed to be about jobs and the economy. But because Obama was also giving a major speech on Iraq and Afghanistan, and because McCain knows squat about jobs and the economy, McCain switches gears to blast Obama for being wrong and to lie about Obama's record while doing it.

In fact McCain is now suggesting we move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan and undertake a comprehensive approach there, which is exactly what Obama has been suggesting for almost a year, before McCain awoke today from his nap to agree with him.

And of course nowhere in McCain's speech does he acknowledge that the Iraqis want us to set an end date for our occupation, or that they are about to take down the Green Zone.
