Good for Cindy

On the final day to qualify for the ballot, Cindy Sheehan submitted what appears to be enough signatures to challenge House Speaker Nancy Pelosi this fall in her San Francisco district.

I initially was against Sheehan's efforts to publicly ridicule Pelosi and hold the Speaker to unrealistic expectations about what she could accomplish with 30-40 Blue Dog Democrats acting as DINOs. But since Pelosi took impeachment off the table and has kept it off the table while the criminality continues to pile up, I support Sheehan's effort to make Pelosi account for her enabling of this regime.

Messages need to be sent to the Beltway Democrats, and although I would rather the Blue Dogs feel some heat for their despicable deeds, I can live with Nancy feeling a litte heat herself. Besides, she's not a great Speaker either.
