Kucinich Fighting The Good Fight For History
by Jeff Dinelli
About a week and a half ago Congressman Dennis Kucinich delivered a petition to the Speaker of the House urging that impeachment proceedings begin examining the criminal conduct by President Bush. The petition had over 100,000 signatures attached to it, and you can access a special video message from DK here that proposes sending an even stronger message when Congress goes back to work next month.
With recent findings that this administration tried to "cook the books" at the CIA in order to try and forge a link between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein, Kucinich rightly says, "We cannot step back and let this President escape accountability."
Sign the impeachment petition here and spread the word. I don't care how late in the game this is. Impeachment is a tool that the people of our democracy have an obligation to use when the time is right. Never has the time been better than now. For those citizens who value our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, these are times when apathy is downright dangerous.
Let this Congress know how important we feel it is for them to uphold the Constitution, and good for Kucinich for getting this on the record at the very least. There are some people in Congress who actually care and are fighting against the impending darkness.
