Headline tonight: Presidential Campaign Turns Negative and It’s Not Even Labor Day.

Evidently, accusing your opponent of being the anti-Christ or wanting the country to lose the war or comparing him to a ditsy blonde wasn't negative. The maverick was just being funny, not negative. Who would have known?
