Thinking of a Democratic October Surprise?

OK, let's enter into an alternate universe, where our VP nominee admits publicly what half the party knows. It will never happen, because the GOP would then spin this as Obama changing his mind and not having confidence in his own choices, but what kind of October surprise would it be for the Democrats if somehow Biden slid over to be Obama's potential Secretary of State and you-know-who was substituted in as the party's Veep nominee?

Oh well, all those ballots couldn't be changed anyway.
