Powell Endorses Obama

This is pretty much game, set, and match for independent voters who still haven't made up their minds, and even those who had decided for McCain because of any nagging doubts about Obama's readiness. To his credit, Tom Brokaw let Powell talk uninterrupted about his endorsement and why he was endorsing Obama, in what was probably one of the best testimonials we had in this campaign.

And if the best countermessage you can dredge up is to whine about the supposed illegality of getting steamrollered by millions of small donors and his glee at how Sarah Palin has energized the anti-woman crazies in the GOP, then it proves everything Powell said today.
