Chris Bowers asks whether a protest aimed at Rick Warren at the inauguration would work in registering a message. As he says, booing Warren during his piece could work to anger Warren's followers thus depriving Obama the ability to accrue political points with them. However, perhaps booing Warren isn't the way to go. What about having signs that indicate an overall commitment to human rights including gay marriage? With enough people willing to express this belief at the Inauguration, it would be a rebuke to the bigots and a statement that our vision is for an inclusive America which values people for the content of their character.
Your turn now.
