I've worked with a couple of people who were students in Beijing during Tiananmen Square and it was strong marker in their lives. Next Thursday is the 20 year anniversary of when the army moved in and the people of China stopped asking for democracy. I sometimes wonder whether the bright young Chinese engineers in Beijing that work on our global team are aware of the anguish their older siblings or parents felt then.

Today the New York Times asked four Chinese writers who remember that time to give their perspective of those days and how it changed their lives.
