My friend's pair of pugs survived the fireworks so it was a successful evening all around.

Here's a clip of Paul Krugman on Charlie Rose explaining why we need to get a good enough healthcare bill and the state of the economy.

BTW: Dr. Krugman is getting so much air time, people come up to him and wonder where they know him from. Not sure how they could mistake him for Tom Friedman.
