As this blog predicted several weeks ago, this White House would toss aside the public option to get a deal, any deal, on health care "reform."

It should be no surprise that Mr. Deal-Maker confirmed our worst fears yesterday.

Yup, an individual mandate for all of us to buy insurance from the same corporations that got us into this mess. That's the administration's idea of reform.
