Alan Greenspan, who once opined that we could afford Bush's tax cuts for the very rich has seen the light. He now says that the Republican plans to extend the Bush tax cuts into the future would be disasterous. Of course, Uncle Alan who has said in the past that Congress should default on paying back the Social Security fund might actually want to use that route to "pay" for those tax cuts still. Obviously, he's not someone who respects the debt owed to the average American for what they've already paid into the system. So best continue to think when Uncle Alan comes around, watch your wallet.
