Sorry it has been a while since I posted; the vitriol spewing from both sides of the aisle has been hazardous to my health. I've been reading the first of the Stieg Larsson books, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and the one thing that has stuck with me so far is the idea that a reporter can go to "gaol" for lying about someone in print. Heavy sigh.
