Lordy, Eight Years?

It was now 8 years ago tomorrow that the Left Coaster was born as a spinoff from the Daily Kos. I owe my start to Kos, and my sanity to the readers of this site, through the highs and lows of these last eight years.

At a time when center-left blogs are disappearing for any number of reasons, I want to thank the readers of this site who still check in, whether they be liberal/progressive or conservative, or somewhere in between. I also want to thank Mary and Paradox for hanging in there all this time as well. I can't guarantee how long The Left Coaster will be around, but it's been a good ride so far, and my thanks go to all of you for that.
