Gingrich: No One Left To Pay His Bills

First, most of his campaign team quit over a lack of money and the candidate's priorities, or lack of them. Now today, his two fundraisers quit because despite having no real hope or plan to get the nomination, Newt still managed to rack up over a $1 million in debts already.

Newt and his alleged brilliance are a reality only in the minds of the Beltway media club, who still treat the man as if he has something to offer the country. Of course, some of these people are the same "experts" like Mark Halperin who want us to believe that Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann are credible candidates for the White House.

The truth is that there are very few credible Republicans who could win a national race, even against a deeply-flawed incumbent like Barack Obama. Yet the national political media needs to have a horse race to cover, so we continue to hear garbage stories and opinions about losers like Gingrich, Palin, and Bachmann.
