Foreign Policy Mess

by Mary

One of the consequences of the deteriorating relations with Pakistan is having to cozy up with one of the world's worse regimes to keep the troops in Afghanistan supplied.

Boston Globe in one of its editorial wrote that there is a huge anger among Pakistanis after the last week NATO cross boarder attack on Pakistani check post in Mohmand Agency which killed 24 Pakistani soldiers. The paper says that the ban on foreign news channels in Pakistan, boycott of Bonn Conference over the future of Afghanistan, vacation of Shamsi Airbase and the suspension of NATO route supply are the clear indications of anger in Pakistani nation.

Uzbekistan is not a country we should be dependent on for good will.
