Solicitor General FAIL
The Solicitor General was picked by the President to further his agenda for the American public. It seems that this Solicitor General didn't even bother to do the homework he needed to do to defend the most important law to be signed by Obama.
Where the lawyers challenging the mandate invoked the Federalist Papers and the framers of the Constitution, Verrilli offered jargon and political talking points. If the law is upheld, it will be in spite of Verrilli's performance, not because of it.
In my opinion, failing to be prepared for this case is a dereliction of duty by Verrilli towards his president and the American people.
