A Day Late
Watching John Kerry make the case for an attack against Syria today pointed out several things:
-He made the case far more effectively than anything Obama has said to date;
-His statement of the case was a day late for David Cameron;
-It was a reminder for us '04 Kerry supporters why we worked for him.
Kerry made the prosecutor's case today, in a compelling way, and yet he made it too late and after Obama had soiled himself with a public discussion of things best left said privately. It was good to see how Kerry would have been an effective president, and it was good to see him kneecap the Bush administration for the damage they did to foreign policy and our intelligence community. And it also showed how small Obama looks in comparison.
