Comments: Democrats Need To Keep Up The Pressure

...politically difficult for these GOP senators to defend Bush and this record of negligence and incompetence.

Don't forget the outright criminal actions. Using the Justice Department as your personal enforcement agency to go after your political enemies is still an impeachable offense. Then lying about it in front of Congress can put people in jail.

Even AIPAC's Queen, Hillary Clinton is calling on Abu to resign:

"I'm deeply disturbed by what we have learned thus far," Clinton said, "and I join those who are calling for a full and thorough investigation to try to get to the bottom of these very political decisions that interfere with prosecutorial responsibility by U.S. attorneys, and I think that the attorney general should resign."

Gasp!

Gonzales is pictured on a photo at HUffPo this morning and---he's actually shorter than Shrub!

What is the Spanish diminuitive for Shrub?

Nevermind. It's something else altogether. Like "weed".

Abu is such a Bush loyalist that he had 4 inches of shin surgically removed so Little Boots would appear to tower over him!

What a guy!

I think there'll be a guy affixing some new gold leaf lettering to the door of the AG's office suite fairly shortly.

The question is, Steve, will the Dems. COLLECTIVELY find their backbone (which has rarely been seen except perhaps on Social Security) and push COLLECTIVELY together on this? There's always a nice band of leaders that voice their concern and back up their words with action (Feingold), but the rest of them tend to kinda wallow around in Beltway politics to see if they should actually do what they ought to (and clearly what the public supports and wants them to do as well).

In short, I'm fucking tired of these spineless Democrats. They have the subpoena power. They have the Committee majority. Kick the Blue Dog Dems. and the rest of the lackadaisical "moderates" in the balls and move forward with what is right. Keep this outrageous Executive branch in check, dammit!

MisterOpus1, DITTO!

Ditto Judith's Ditto.

However, firing Abu does not undo what outrageous things have been done...at the biding of the shrub. Abu's boss should be fired, then he can take all his buddies with him to Dubai. Bye bye!
