I like Elizabeth Edwards lots. Much more than I like her husband. I don't like the sound of this at all.

8 billion dollars a month spent on the Iraq war that could've been used to find a cure for breast cancer as well as many other diseases.

For their entire family's sake I hope the news is not of a recurrance.

That being said, if Edwards drops out of the race to focus on his wife's health and that situation has a happy outcome he may still find himself available as a VP selection for the eventual nominee.

Personally, I think he'd make a better VP than president. At least initially.
