Comments: McCain Heads For Irrelevancy

Yes, McCain was made a fool. But right now on MSNBC his story is repeated without any mention of the "eaten words" or discreditation suffered at the hand's of Ware. Only his "rah-rah" speech is put out for public consumption.

ah, Weather Vane McCain strikes again!

Weather Vane McCain

HAHAHAHAHA! Perfect!

I saw him this morning being interviewed by Meredith Viera on NBC's Today. At one point in his trance-like rambling he swallowed hard and gulped for air, as if even he couldn't swallow what he was saying. (:>

Donald:

What happened? Did Meredith deliver another dropkick? She's been doing that lately. I believe Tom Delay had drool on his shirt after she finished with him.

Hopefully St. McCain will be as bitter and enraged at the end his presidential bid as Lieberturd was at the end of his.

Dr. Michael Ware is McLame's new proctologist.

Stick a colonoscope in McLiar, he's done.

you gotta get a look at Doan's testimony in the GSAgate hearings...its on Muckraker.. absolutely priceless footage of GOP meltdown. If there is a Stepford Wives III, Doan is a shoe-in.

Senility's a bitch, Johnny Mac.

Go quietly into that goodnight, Mav.

"McCain Heads For Irrelevancy"

That should be the name of his PAC.

Posted by mparker at March 28, 2007 12:39 PM

mccain's downward spiral since 2000 is just sad. To watch a hero from Vietnam suck up to the guy who smeared his family, then suck up to the Christian cultists who hate him is pathetic. Is it senility? I just don't get it ...

Is it senility?

Naked ambition.

I just watched all of Michael Ware's rant yesterday (at McCain's expense) and frankly was astounded that CNN let it on the air. I can't remember when I heard a non-Fox reporter destroy a Republican Congressman like Ware did McCain. Cool.

Posted by T2 at March 28, 2007 01:40 PM

my bad. I should have just said a Cable TV reporter. No Fox "reporter" would ever diss a GOPer.

snark - not to put too fine a point on Christian hypocrisy, but wasn't it Jesus who said

What benefit will it be to you if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

Posted by Jim Faith at March 28, 2007 01:56 PM

Hey.

Jesus never had to get elected.

Posted by snark at March 28, 2007 02:06 PM

how about the "profile in courage" by Susan Collins of Maine? who said today that just because she voted against a timetable doesnt mean she agrees with an indefinite continuation of the current situation in Iraq... she suggested to give the "surge" another "Friedman" to see if it was working and then decide what to do...

hello Maine readers... dump this loser... we will do our best in Minnesota to get rid of Norm "Chameleon" Coleman ....

Posted by leftymn at March 28, 2007 02:39 PM

It's plain that McCain is mainly insane in the brain...

Posted by james k. sayre at March 28, 2007 03:58 PM

It really is funny to see: McCain knows that for a variety of reasons, he's got no credibility with the serious wingers he'll need to win the GOP primaries. So he feels like he has no choice but to become the candidate who's willing to say the absolute wingnuttiest things of the bunch. If another candidate says he supports the war, McCain feels he has no choice but to say the war is going great.

Posted by dj moonbat at March 28, 2007 06:39 PM

dj, what's really funny is flipping through the Sunday shows and hearing the talking heads refer to Hagel as a "maverick." McCain doesn't know yet that he's been sidelined, I don't think.

No one respects an ass kisser.

Trick question! Republi-cons don't have souls.
