Comments: Sampson Clarifies That Politicizing US Attorneys Is OK

So far, this guy doesn't remember a thing. Shouldn't we have people with better memories in positions of importance?

Didn't see that they got much out of this little conservative prick today. What a nauseating character---your conservative guv'mint.

Like all litigation, the documents are the key, that's why the WH shut down further production.

Feinstein is making up for the lost 6 years this time, I like the introduction of the Feb '07 letter from Border Patrol Division to Carol Lam commending her in detail and at length. And Feinstein points out how Sampson called the FBI head to complain of the local SD FBI chief's criticism of Lam's firing.

Kennedy's question of how interesting it was that the states where USA's were fired happen to coincide with the states (except CA) where the '08 elections are seen up for grabs - following Rove's leaked list.

The picture of Samson squirming as he has to testify that Gonzales & McNulty have not squared the truth are profound. Schummer had a point, that the later down the road that Meirs & Rove appear the more and more information they will be forced to counter from previous testimonies.

Perhaps I spoke too soon, mainsail. Thanks for the update.

nice of him to admit his role in the obstruction of justice isn't it?
he appears rather delusional, much like rove. they have an idiot for a boss, and they can apparently tell him anything he wants to hear and he nods and waves. this fellow appears to think he can perform as many illegal acts as he wants.
