Comments: Open Thread - McCain's Desperate Grab For Large Donors

He cannot possibly continue saying "things are great in Iraq" after his ridiculous shock and awe stroll through Iraq.

Or is he just that nuts?

He's that nuts.

Dead man running.

I'm not counting him out until he quits.

McCave will return to what he does best: being the GOP's top shill on the Sunday morning political TV blab circuit.

McCave is a mediawhore and he loves the sound of his own voice.

Iraq: The Unknown Success Story. This explains the necessity of the trip to the potemkin Baghdad Rug Bazaar, courtesy of a company of 1st Cavalry.

How many years has the Right pushed this Goebbelsian Big Lie? This was their "lesson" of Vietnam: we were on the verge of victory and the press undermined us! And instead of defending itself, the TV News gang just sits there, takes the nonsense and will probably start repeating it.

Remember that 50% of American nitwits went back to believing that Saddam had WMD after Santorum and other GOoPers started claiming it on TV News again (Cheney never stopped)--so don't be surprised if this new Big Lie starts taking hold as well.

All part of the "Treason against the Troops" PR campaign.

Iran frees Brits. Now the bombing can start on schedule.

idio, you're right, of course, McCain won't quit. He's got this odd need for constant humiliation. Atrios had a great series of posts yesterday about Bush's base - they would turn against the occupation in an instant if Bush decided it was wrong. They're loyal to Bush not the war. McCain has tied himself to the war, thinking he's going to inherit Bush's base; it's not going to happen.

"The "Nutball Express" rolls on."

We in Az, don't appreciate your dissing one of our more famous war mongering clueless bastard senior citizens.

Hey TIKI, did you read in the AZ Republic that McKnave has only voted 1/3 of the time in the Senate so far this year?

Photo op "Running Man" is too busy to do his job. Stick 6 forks in him, 7.

Guess what the King did today. He threw a fit and said I don't care what the f*cking Senate says, I'm appointing, in a recess appointment, Samuel Fox as Embassador to Belgium whether they like it or not. He should get a medal for financing those great Swiftboating ads. Good job Sammy.

Posted by Judith at April 4, 2007 03:13 PM

And swiftboat Sammy gets to go to a place that has some of the best chocolate in the world.

Life is so unfair.
