Outrage at Don Imus has been growing for two decades - this time, he crossed the line and word has it that CBS Radio has received more than 50,000 email complaints demanding CBS fire him.
This decision is a victory for women, minorities, gays and jews, as well as all Americans who reject dicrimination.
Well done, CBS!

Snark, as I always say, "with free speech comes responsibility." Free speech doesn't give you the right to harm others especially on the public airwaves. As someone pointed out, you can say anything you want in this Country, but sometimes there are consequences for that free speech, as Imus is finding out. It was not responsible of him to call those young women "nappy headed hos." He had the freedom to say what he wanted, but it cost him. I think we fool ourselves if we think there is free speech without limitations.
If I remember correctly, there were discussions on this very site about what should happen to Ann Coulter for her hate filled free speech.
