If only.

Can't wait to see Lieberman on the VP campaign trail again. And this time Donna Brainiac won't have to tell them to avoid that immoral Bill Clinton, because he will be energizing the base and raising large sums of money for Hillory.

Let the nostalgia begin!

Steve,

Blogged about this earlier and my readers are 100% in favor of Gore entering the race.

Hillary's loyalists must be knocking their heads against their keyboards about now.

And so we wait to hear from Mr. Gore himself.

Gore/Clark! I'm ready.

GORE/OBAMA 2008!

Posted by Christopher at April 22, 2007 11:55 AM

Gore and anybody! well... maybe not Cheney.

I'm definitely part of the Waiting For Gore crowd. Can't think of a better qualified candidate than Gore to get us out of the mess that W has put us in. Not to mention, it would be nice to have a president who is respected around the world rather than hated

You just wait. It's not something I've ever done well, but even I know there's still time. Not much, but still time.

7 more months, at the absolute tops. More like 5, 6.

We'll know in about 180 days. A lot can happen in that time.

in preparation for a Gore run, I've already seen the GOP Media slipping in plenty of digs at Al. Hey, they know what to do. The question this time is: will Al let them do it to him again? I think Clark is a stronger VP pick than Obama if Gore runs. On the other hand, LIE berman would cement the Jewish vote as well as the pro-war, pro-Bush vote.

Gore should give it another go...
He already has a impressive base if he does...

Gore/anybody

forkin landslide

too bad moron americans have been so propagandized and sedated there's no escaping the next great depression

we're gonna need another FDR – Al fits the bill far better than anyone – as long as he stops taking this media bullshit and hits back, hard

I can't believe we've all been watching Karl Rove literally destroy our country for all these years, and still all we can do is wring our hands at his game? even Al needs to be afraid again? We all know the drill in our sleep but STILL have no jujitsu, still react, still play defense

*Hi Sharkbabe*

Yep, Gore's the only one I see, besides Kucinich, who doesn't mealy-mouth, whichwaysthewindblowing?, when he speaks. Time to snailmail him again.

Richardson has my vote as of now. Should Gore jump in... it would be between Richardson and Gore. A Gore/Richardson ticket would be awesome.

Posted by Jackie at April 22, 2007 08:16 PM

Gore and anybody but Cheney or scout!

I'm tellin ya, he doesn't want to do the begging for money routine, with all the strings that come with the big money. And with the network and movie and blogs he won't need the teevee either, and that's too bad for the media companies, too effin bad!

He's been through the wilderness, I hope to have him back real soon.

Posted by Duckman GR at April 22, 2007 08:56 PM

Gore/Richardson would be awesome. Lots of decisive courage between those two guys.

Pressure should continue to draft Al. And if he does climb on board, the rest should close ranks, bail on their own ambitions and hand it to him to avoid wasting money on primaries.

The timid dinosaur democrats with no focus on making a great future need to show a new unity and discipline they have heretofore lacked.

Magnanimity and wisdom of this sort is an essential precondition to rescue the party from its own flabby and near perpetual borderline bankruptcy.

The vile GOP is near to destroying itself and taking us with it. While the crop of Senators seems exciting, they rarely win and it may well be that a body of this sort is a lame training ground for executive leadership.

And Al did win. It was usurpation, an oligarchic coup d'etat leaving us a ghastly imbecile junta that is derailing every worthwhile thing the nation ever tried to be.

A restoration of this sort may well be the watershed moment that pulls us from the edge of the abyss and harmonizes the many things waiting in the wings to move to a less toxic and stupid era.

Unacceptable:
Gore-Clark
Gore-Hillary

Somewhere, Karl Rove is smiling....

Posted by bartcopfan at April 23, 2007 11:44 AM

I doubt Gore wants to be remembered as a repeat loser like Adlai Stevenson or William Jennings Bryan.
