it is enjoyable when main stream journalists (whores) rail against that which will replace them. there are still a few good ones, but they are vastly outnumbered.

since newspapers are dying fast, these twits are losing their jobs. let us watch as they beg for employment from that which they hate

The competent ones will become bloggers. Everyone blogging for the ad revenue is safe!

Rude Pundit talks of churchin' with Greg Palast, RFK, Jr. 'n' Randi Rhodes as they try to counteract the M$M's complicity.

Thank the Lord.

When the Army Corps of Engineers solicited bids for drainage pumps for New Orleans, it copied the specifications — typos and all — from the catalog of the manufacturer that ultimately won the $32 million contract, a review of documents by The Associated Press found. The pumps, supplied by Moving Water Industries Corp. of Deerfield Beach, Fla., and installed at canals before the start of the 2006 hurricane season, proved to be defective, as the AP reported in March.” The company was Jeb Bush’s employer before he became governor or Florida.

Thanks Sharon for the link. I never remember to check in with the Rude Pundit. This sums it up nicely, from my standpoint.

When George Bush says of leaving Iraq, "Withdrawal would do nothing to prevent violence from spilling out across that country and plunging Iraq into chaos and anarchy," when Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says, "the withdrawal of our forces...would send the wrong message to the Iraqis, the wrong message to the neighborhood and the wrong message to Iraq's enemies," when Dick Cheney and every necrophilia-lovin' pundit attempts to say how anarchy, death, and destruction will rain down on Iraq if we leave, what they're not getting is that the American people don't fucking care what happens to Iraq.

The citizens have moved beyond that. Bad shit happens to countries. The American public has accepted this, time and again, and we know that, no matter how many times we try, like trying to dam the ocean, the tide's gonna do what it's gonna do in Iraq.

Virtually all MSM commentators, reporters etc. hate bloggers because those on the left make them look bad and those on the right abuse them with foul language and bad grammer. 90% of leftie bloggers in 2002-2003 could see through the WH bs on invading Iraq and knew it would turn into a quagmire. At best only 10% of the MSM got even close to seeing what was so obvious to leftie bloggers. Of course 100% of rightwing bloggers agreed with Tenet that it would be a slam dunk.

Plus a few bloggers like Billmon and Soto are better writers than most MSM journalists.
