What do you mean, "if"?

Although attorneys were present (according to the article), what was said at that prepatory meeting -- to Rove, about Rove, by Rove, or merely in the presence of Rove -- cannot be attorney-client privileged. The presence of Rove removed the privilege.

Questions can now be asked about what was said at that meeting....

All of this will come back to haunt the Bushies. Just as almost everything they've done in their six years. Bush and Cheney will be chased from office before the 2008 election.

it has been going on so long that it has been demoted to a lower class felony by comparison
another clear example of almost half the members of congress being so corrupt as to promote the lawbreaking instead of calling for the resignation of the entire exu

notice how everything in this WH is based on "getting back at someone" or "do it my way or the highway". These phrases describe the real source of the problems, the one and only George W. Bush.

Steve - Yes. And really, what is going on with whole process? I've read that "it takes time", "the case is building", "they know what they are doing (Congress)". Bloggers and commenters all cheer on the upcoming frog marches.

But to date, where's the beef? AG is still AG, Karl is untouchable, Monica is invisible, polite letters float around, new and overlapping investigations are started for the purpose of delay and obfuscation.

The word is there is no smoking gun. You have got to be joking! I think even a lawyer from Regents U could prosecute this on the evidence. But we're not operating on evidence, no, were operating in total deference to the most criminal administration in history. We need a prosecutor - not a freaking committee.

We really, really need to see some concrete action by the Democrats, and soon.

That would be sweet!

It is high time for Congressional Committees (plural) to subpoena Karl Rove. They have an excellent reason in this witness-tampering story.

Don't just authorize subpoenas. Deliver the subpoena.

How I would love to see Rove indicted. How sweet it would be.

LMAO

Subpoenas, shamoenas. This WH will tell Congress to take their subpoenas and shove them. Furthermore, what are the Democrats going to do about it? Nothing.

Fred Fielding was at the meeting where Rove obstructed justice, which puts him in serious jeopardy as well. I would have thought that a crafty lawyer like Fred, who was deep in the Watergate mess, would have kept himself out of this one.

What I've never seen is the evidence that the Lewis investigation was stopped when Yang resigned. Anyone have anything that we can point to to proove this?

These guys are like moths attracted to flames. It's in the republi-con's nature.
