Comments: Congressman tells truth, is completely ignored.

I thought of this last week too, another nasty mental turn from our history. Covert against Ira, yes, we have been here before.

It's a great story (in one way) and hardly known at all outside of political junkies. Having the nation know it would be so good for us, but, well, you know, it would be depressing.

Iran, jesus save us.

He will be punished for speaking out.

His punishment is that he's being ignored.

He will be punished for speaking out.

He has been punished for many years now.

This suit goes way back to the Gingrich years and was what helped to bring Newt down. Most people do not know about the hell that McDermott has been through.

They have been after him forever and he continues to fight.

He is one of the true Progressives and a decent, honest man. I am grateful to say that he represents the District next to mine...he is good people.

BTW...I miss you guys.

Who's Anjha?

About time woman!

Nice to hear from you.

Who's Anjha?

Sometimes I wish I remembered too.

Miss you.

I should send you a note, huh...

I will take the few minutes and do that. Sincerest apologies SOS - my life has been hell.

Anjha, it couldn’t have taken that long to put down a rattan floor! Please keep in touch more regularly, even if it's only to give us shit!

Take great care...

thanks so much for this one soccerdad, it's good news to me to hear that someone in the House knows their history and is connecting the dots and speaking out like this.
...even if the minstry of truth and information i mean the mainstream propaganda machine i mean the great fourth estate doesn't report it

You can't be serious. You thought someone would notice an article that involves history? Come on, man! This is America! Wake up and smell the patriotism!

Remembering is treason.

I Googled - McDermott, Iraq, Iran, Oil, Congressional Record and this was at the top of the list.

Thanks for the heads up. It is good to hear that there are congressmen who are now willing to talk aout the obvious.
