Comments: Afternoon Grab Bag

"when those Democrats are in no mood to help Bush on anything"

yea, except continuing his filthy smash and grab in Iraq.

And I see Tim Griffin is just jumping at the chance to bolt from Bud Cummins seat and interview with dear Fred as his new campaign manager. TPM has the info.

When the fundies see that Fred Thompson's trophy wife is barely old enough to be his stepdaughter, they may have second thoughts about Mr. Law and Order. Talk about "Hollywood values!"

Thompson will likely hurt Ghouliani as much as McCain, if not more. And the right won't blink at the Jennifer syndrome.

Any chance that we'll see Rove desert Bush for Thompson? I can't understand why the Dem candidates don't trash the administration over Rove, bring him into the foreground instead of letting him hide in the shadows, refer to it as "the Rove administration", that kind of thing. The man's not likeable. I think he'd be an anchor around Bush's neck if the Dems did that.

OMG, his first(?) marriage broke up due to cheating, and he fathered a child by married woman not his, it says in the comment section at Wonkette. Heeheehee, that whole crew, with the exception of Mitt, are quite the wandering weenies.

Zoellick is Wolfowitz-lite -- and not very much "lite"

We've got a lot of problems coming our way and Zoellick will exasperate them.

BREAKING NEWS!

The SP500 closed at an all-time closing high today!

Boo-yah!

Like we care bozo.

The serial philandering, adultery and moral depravity of the degenerate hypocrites contending for the GOP nomination will have absolutely no effect on the Republican base. They will embrace any and all candidates in direct proportion to their ability to satiate the base's sadistic lust for carnage, infantile aversion to taxation and capacity to enable their willful ignorance.

Boo-yah!

I'll translate: "I take advice from Cable T.V. hucksters because I have no clue that the Stock Market is akin to gambling. The kind of gambling where the Roulette Wheel has magnets on the underside."

Jeez Steve, how old his this gal? First Lady? I don't think so.

Did you see the job she has? She works for a law firm as a "consultant". Jesus, I would love to hear her consultertations. It's probably shopping for the partners wives Christmas gifts while the partners are in the Bahamas with their "secretaries". I can hear her as she talks to the mailroom kid: "How do you like my tits? Freddy got them for me for Christmas. Freddy's a little slow these days, know what I mean? Want let me blow you behind the dumpster in the alley?"

I really think muck needs to go over and gloat with bonddad. He'll straighten your ass right out.

Shhhh. bondad reads....books...

He does make a great point about shorts and what it means for the market. The Stock Market is like a gigantic Indian casino. The odds are a little better, but just barely. And it doesn't have an Indian name.

I want to hand all the credit in the world to the Democrats. With all the hard work they've done, they have kept the stock markets red hot. Great work Democrats. My 401K thanks you soo much for your leadership. Keep up the good work!
