Comments: Obama Slides A Little In Gallup Poll

I'm happy both Edwards and Obama are slipping, because I think they should really have to fight for the nomination. Hillary, even as a frontrunner, is not going to coast; like her or not, you have to recognize her full commitment to winning.
I'm not sure I see that in Edwards or Obama---yet.

The next White House will likely have the Center for a New American Security (CNAS), a new, bi-partisan, national security-oriented think tank at 13th and Pennsylvania Avenue. CNAS launches a roll-out June 27, featuring a new Iraq report that has already generated some interest around town. The paper, Phased Transition: a Responsible Way Forward and Out of Iraq, is expected to argue for reducing the US troop presence in Iraq by 100,000 to 60,000 by the end of 2008, and a total withdrawal by 2012...

On the QT, we hear prez aspirant Hillary Clinton, former councilor to Secretary of State Rice Philip Zelikow, rumored future Dem administration national security advisor Jim Steinberg, and Senator Chuck Hagel are slated to address the CNAS kickoff at the Willard.

Hillary Clinton is not going to be the Democratic Party nominee in '08. You were exactly right when you said, "I sense that the party is bored already with the choices we have..."

Al Gore is going to be the Democratic Party nominee in '08.

This week Boren, last week it was Hagel, who will it be next week for Bloomberg?

Accepting Hillary Clinton now are we. She insures a Rudi victory. She'll make NY interesting but she loses California.

Three New Yorkers for president, senators don't win the presidency very often. Not very often at all. Two big city mayors now there's a race. Bloomberg has NYC with a 4.4 billion surplus and the lowest unemployment in three decades. And y'all say the economy is soo bad. Verses America's mayor, that's where the interest will be.

CMike, forget ALGORE, he wont enter the race. You'll have to draft him at the convention to get him to run. Just think how bad the party must be to have to do that.

Clinton, Obama and Edwards.....corporate and AIPAC lackies one and all. Don't look for major foreign policy changes (ala Ron Paul) from these toadies.

Obama is looking more and more like a CFR Trojan Horse.

These trolls are really just pathetic. Yes, Hillary Clinton would lose California to Guilliani, that's right, book that one in Vegas, petey boy, you'll be able to retire a rich man!

That okay Duckman, root for HRC. She's your person. The perfect candidate for Democrats right now. She hold soo many of your values. Father's a Republican, supports the war, just not the way we're fighting it. Pull that lever for her Duckman. She's ALL you've got.

The good news here is, Al Gore is in a statistical tie with Obama for second place and he hasn't even declared himself a candidate.
