Since the United States has the only viable suitcase bomb we should be worried about us. If you see some guy with his hair falling out and vomitting blood because of degeneration of the epithelial cells in his digestive tract and he is dragging a really heavy large box in an airport, notify security.

Aren't they coming here to get AWAY from Castro, and the last gasps of his Communist regime? If they're coming to attack us, wouldn't they actually BE bringing us "greetings from Castro?"
Wouldn't the suitcase nuke get wet on the makeshift raft, or leaky motorboat, or whatever they're floating across on? Are suitcase nukes buoyant? Maybe they'd use it to float on?
Uh, Fred, I think Cubans with suitcase nukes are probably the last thing we need to worry about.
How is it that people don't laugh out loud when politicians say things like this?

I speculated last week that Rove is is using Griffin as an exit strategy from the White House, and Griffin is paving the way. I have also speculated that Thompson is a taller version of George Bush (just what Rove needs to keep banging the drum for his base), but with less baggage and more star power. Rove needs to get out with his hide from under the crushing legacy of Bush. And Thompson, from the cited excerpt, sounds like he already knows the script. A true professional.

Please elaborate. I have been curious for years about the embargo and why we have allowed Castro to stay in power.
Chances are, if you see a Cuban lugging a suitcase, he's probably smuggling Havanna cigars, Fred Thompson's personal stash.
Give me a break on Cuba. What threat do they actually pose the US? Are we afraid their anti-Capitalist ideas will be contagious?
