They need to put the Blackstone management in the slammer so the sentence decider can continue to hone his new found commut'in skills.

Republican Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana has become the first member of Congress to be ensnared in the ”D.C. Madam” scandal.

Vitter’s telephone number appeared on the phone records of the woman who operated the Pamela Martin and Associates escort service. His client status goes back as far as 2004.

The family-values, far-right conservative’s controversial 2004 campaign is said to have had ties to white supremacist David Duke.

I wonder if Gannon's number is on that list, too.

He may have "headed" up the White House chickenhawk division for her.

The site with the phone numbers of all 50,000 of the DC Madam's clients crashed this morning, so confirming Dick Cheney was a "regular" is still up in the air.

No pun intended.

A corporation exists to attend to its primary function: fullfill its fiduciary duties. I am sure Blackwater exists to do the same. I am sure the loss of November 1 did nothing to detract from those fiduciary responsibilities. On the other hand, I confident that Blackwater finds these nettlesome lawsuits a burden and will demonstrate in court that its right to a free-market profit exceeds its responsibilities to the air-breathing community who wish to question or regulate these fundamental principles of corporate governance.

Christoper, you beat me to it. Is there any member of the GOP that can keep it in their pants? I NEVER again want to hear the phase FAMILY VALUES come out of the mouth of any fucking Republican.

So, Snow is keeping to his original statement of yesterday.

1. Some bench marks have been met.
2. The Surge has only been operative for two weeks. Give it a chance.
3. There is no doom and gloom. We have had some success.
4. Succeeding is most important.
5. Sectarian vilence is down.

There are no plans for withdrawal, according to Snow. Success is the only mission Bush is interested in, and he doesn't care about how many GOP members of Congress abandon the Mission.

Way to go Bush. You stand by your principals, and show this Nation who the "Decider" is.

If the truth were known, probably just about every Republican is on the Madam's List. You think Foley and Gannon made their services available?

TIKI AL, LMAO.

It's very, very hard for me to be sympathetic to the compromised right wing religio-extremist stooges and militia nuts employed by Blackcopter.

But I'll try.

You can do to Blackwater that the SPLC did to the Clan: Sue them until there is not a penny left. Sue Erik Prince and Al Clark until they have nothing. Get such a huge judgement that they have to liquidate their toys to even begin to cover it.

Private armys, indeed! Stomp them so flat they can never recover.

McLame's 2 top campaign managers just resigned.

I just watched his hard sell Iraq War speech on C-Span. He had a hard time pronouncing the words someone wrote for him and seemed very tired.

Fork, please.

Palfrey's attorney, Montgomery Blair Sibley, told the AP, "I'm stunned that someone would be apologizing for this." He said Palfrey had posted the phone numbers of her escort service's clients online Monday, but that he had not been aware Vitter's number was among them. Vitter's statement was sent to the AP's New Orleans bureau Monday evening.

Palfrey's Web site contains several pages phone records, but no names, dating from August 1994 to August 2006. Palfrey wrote on the Web site that she believed a disk containing the records had been pirated, and said she was posting the records "to thwart any possible distorted version and to ensure the integrity of the information."

Palfrey revealed details of her escort service on ABC's news magazine "20/20" on May 4. At the time, ABC said it could not link any information provided by Palfrey to members of Congress or White House officials but did find links to prominent business executives, NASA officials and at least five military officers.

"Blackwater definitely needs to be held accountable for those deaths." -(Mary)

Is this a joke?

This is one of the only good things that Blackwater has done. The more Blackwater mercenaries that die the better.

Their deaths are unworthy of accountability.

It is stunning that you would think so.

The deaths of Blackwater terroists should bring joy to our hearts.

To wish that their deaths be accounted for is obscene.

Jill, you might want to read this piece before you make your judgment.
