It's way past time for Gonzo to go. Send him packing to Texas. An Attorney General who is a liar? What kind of example does that set for our judicial system?
Posted by ann at July 10, 2007 09:20 AMIf Gonzo lied to the Senate Judiciary Committee then he's clearly guilty of perjury. Why isn't the Committee acting?
Oh that's right: they don't have the votes.

Nancy: "Hello, Harry?, We need to do something about Albert...wait a second, I got a lobbyest on the other line. I'll get back to you."

What do we tell the children? Plus, I'm still waiting for them to fulfill their other promise about restoring honor and integrity back into the WH.
Lastly, there's a diary over at dKos that suggests that apparently Biggus Dick-us aka Fourthbranch has his telephone number on the DC Madames list. Maybe repukes will finally call for impeachment?
Posted by emal at July 10, 2007 10:42 AMBushAmerica is a vile stew of rancid horseshit, putrifying cow stomach and rotting turnip greens, spiced with dime store ketchup and chili pepper. The stink has permeated the entire house, and we all have to smell it and learn to live with it for years to come. The neighbors have given up complaining about us, coming to expect such behavior as par for the course.
Bringing dignity to WH and the "organs" of government, that's fer sure. Thanks Repubs and "conservatives", our country is an international disgrace. And who cares what the American boob thinks anymore, right, Nero and Abu?
Posted by euzoius at July 10, 2007 11:17 AMThe simplest (and therefore least likely) thing that the bush regime can do to bring honor and dignity to the White House is for them to leave it. All of them.
Posted by jwrjr at July 10, 2007 11:50 AMBush says he's not leaving, so he isn't leaving. End of story.
If Nixon's impeachment had gone this slow during the investigation, he would have finished out his term.
Posted by Judith at July 10, 2007 01:36 PMThis is utterly preposterous. The reports in question detailed minor technical problems with the oversight of the NSL program and recommended methods for correcting these problems. If anything they showed an overabundance of concern about privacy issues. Typical leftist Bush/Gonzales Derangement Syndrome.
