Comments: Ramping Up 2008 Coverage

"...and to have a little fun with the GOP field." -(Steve Soto)

-I must respectively disagree.

The GOP, (especially the GOP), must be treated with a dispassionate, ruthless objectivity. There is no room or time for light banter.

The American cultural tendency to turn everything into a joke or a comedic laugh fest is a grim travesty of the most grotesque irony.

The results of American politics is blood and death.

It is never not about blood and death.

That this continues to be taken lightly by most Americans is bad enough.

Perhaps after the bombing (nuclear or other) of Iran, humor here will be seen for the obscenity that it is.

Sample of my writing: "Bloviating fucktards with their republi-con heads so far up their asses that they have to grin to see daylight."

Do I pass?

Steve and Mary,

You guys are missing an impotant part of the campaign effort this year -the grassroots efforts to get rid of the DINOs. Many DINOs will be challenged by real Democrats in their respective primarys. I hope you get someone to monitor and report on these candidates...or one of you guys do it in your free time (big grin).

McOld's entire communication team has quit. No big deal....if you don't have anything worth communicating...you don't need a communication team. Steve, if you plan on recruiting a reporter to cover McOld's campaign, you better do it quick.

Well I've become a resident Edwards shill. But hell, when do you get the most progressive, most electable, and best looking candidate in one package?

I'll tell you when. Almost never. So you take this opportunity and you run with it.

Best thing about Edwards? No guessing about what side he's taken. You know what you're gonna get...and it's good.

I nominate TIKI for writing about McCain.
I'm sure the coverage would be hilarious, even if the story writes itself!
No 'veneer' on that 'whitewash', hey TIKI?

McLame can no longer afford to pilot the mighty bus of the straitjacket express and finds himself flying coach seated next to screaming rugrats who have been traumatized for life by him attempting to kiss them.

Maybe Willy Nelson could lend him his green bus. It would be fun to cover him begging for used frenchfry oil at the various McDonalds in Iowa.

Thanks to him and Kyl I have removed all evidence of being an Arizona resident from my luggage.

That Kyl is one true, bu$h tool. Isn't he?
