Comments: Ted Stevens' Home Raided

Stevens is being persecuted for his patriotism and love of freedom. I demand a pardon!

Jeez, another GOPer involved in a crime. Shocked I tell you. Shocked. Seems the crime syndicate is losing members. The dead horse head in the bed use to be a joke around here. Now I'm not so sure it is a joke.

Kuas, I would venture to say a pardon is in the works already.

Judith, I'll add "awe" to your "shocked."

It’s going to be fun to hear Uncle Ted explain that J Edgar Hoover blow-up doll in open crotch panties under his bed.

The Alaska GOP really takes corruption to a new level. What other state has every member of its Congressional delegation under investigation? That on top of the big scandal engulfing state legislators, including Ted's own kid (the apple doesn't fall far from the corruption tree, I guess). All that proud money-grubbing and pork-guzzling was going to catch up with them someday.

Ted's problems are the last thing poor John Ensign and the NRSC need. The GOP is beleagured enough on the 2008 Senate races and now they're looking at possibly having to defend a Senate seat in Alaska that hasn't been competitive for ages (since Teddy's been there since the late 60s).
